I really enjoy the concept behind this poetry volume. While it certainly has Justin's stamp on it, it hits home for me that it was born piece by piece from suggestions that came from Twitter. Justin has in an amazing way funneled all these works into a grand collection that reflect the current concerns, worries, trends, triumphs, and what-have-you of the times. The book is broken up into segments with different themes. I appreciate however that the pieces in these sections don't obviously adhere to the title. The chapter "Light Poetry" for example, includes pieces that still possess criticisms about mistakes we make at the same time highlighting what we can do to rectify those mistakes. What works most in Wander Thoughts however is Justin's adaptive style. He doesn't shy away from rhyme nor does he hit you over the head with it. He form shifts to fit the subject. This allows the reading of each poem to be fresh and unexpected. I truly look forward to what awaits in future volumes he accumulates from his online poetry experiment.Product details
